Business visa D
Duration – D national visa is issued for a period 12 months.
Conditions:
1. You need to buy or establish company in Lithuania;
2. The minimum authorized capital of a company (Joint Stock Company) should be €28,000.00.
3. You must be participant of the company registered in the Register of Legal Entities, established not earlier than 1 year before the date of application. The value of company`s equity is at least €28,000, whereof at least €14,000 are Your invested funds or other assets.
Decision: The decision to issue a national visa is made within 15 calendar days from the date of the request. This period may be extended by up to 45 calendar days.
Temporary residence permit related to start up
Duration – A temporary residence permit for a startup is issued for 2 years. This permit may be renewed for a further 3 years.
Conditions: Confirmation (decision) by the public institution Innovation Agency that You have proved that You are developing a start-up activity which You intend to carry out in the Republic of Lithuania and that You have the necessary qualifications, funding and business plan to carry out this activity, and that Your presence in the Republic of Lithuania is necessary for the activities of the start-up, as a member of the start-up You intend to set up.
Temporary residence permit related to studies
Duration – permit may be issued for a maximum period of 2 years (3 years for doctoral students) and can be renewed for the remaining study period.
Conditions:
-Number of the facilitation letter submitted by the scientific and study institution via the Lithuanian Migration Information System (MIGRIS).
-The consent of the parents or one of them, the guardian (custodian) or another legal representative for the intended stay (studies) in the Republic of Lithuania if You are a minor.
-Document regarding sufficient subsistence funds.

-An undertaking (confirmation) that You will declare Your place of residence in a dwelling with a living area of at least 4 square metres for each adult declaring his/her residence.

Temporary residence card for a family member of an EU citizen
Duration – The card is issued for the period for 5 years.
Conditions:
– document confirming legal stay in the Republic of Lithuania (You must be in Lithuania together and you cant submit documents from other country)
– documents certifying the basis for issuing the card. For example – document certifying marriage to an EU citizen or a registered partnership agreement or you need to live together for 3 years.
Decision:
– The card must be issued no later than 1 month from the date of submission of the application.
